Bifold closet doors are available in a variety of wood species and door styles. Shown below is an ash bifold unit with 2 - 18″ sections that closes off a utility room from the rest of a finished basement.
We have available a variety of wood species for our custom made to order bifold door units. These bifold units can be used for both closets, or also just as dividers between rooms, with our bifold hardware These same door sections can be used with multiple panels, up to six each direction, using our multifold hardware. Shown above is our door style #5512, which has four panels in each bifold section. This is the raised panel version of this design. In the same design, we also have a flat panel version, and versions that can have custom glass inserted in different configurations. The possibilities are almost endless, with the combination of wood species, door styles, and sizes.

I have a 6′-8” wide by 6′-8” tall opening that i would like to put a set of bi-fold doors in (style # 5512) is it possible to install these units and be able to lock the doors to to secure the room.
I am looking for some closet doors. I plan on painting them and what i want to use is doors similar to the ones above (in a paintable material) but I want to mount them in a french door fashion. How much would something like that be and what size rough opening will i need. My ceiling height in the room is 6’10″ tall.
